So often we see trends in the wedding industry, and over the last couple of years neutral tones have been the norm. Now, don’t get me wrong, I love a blush/grey/navy/gold palette! But when Samara told me she loved colour and wanted to incorporate it into their wedding day I was ecstatic! She chose corals and teals for their wedding and it was pulled together beautifully, a real treat to photograph.
Andrew and Samara have quite the love story, and I know they would tell it much better than I can, so I will just tell you that you should know that Andrew is Australian and Samara is from northern Canada – they are living proof that long distance can work well, as they spent most of their engagement on opposite sides of our country!
These two had a small ceremony at the Muttart Conservatory with their lovely friends and family, followed by an intimate dinner at the Fairmont McDonald downtown, every detail was divine. Thank you both so much for including us on your wedding day, and I hope your European honeymoon is nothing short of amazing.
I spent years studying under two incredible photographers in Saskatchewan and Alberta and for the past 5 years I have been working full-time delivering beautiful images to couples across western Canada.
