Kelowna.

If you’ve ever been there, you know it’s beauty, and if you haven’t had the chance to go there I highly recommend adding it to your summer itinerary.

This amazing couple decided to have an intimate wedding in Kelowna, and asked me to document a portion of the day. If you know me, you know that small weddings and elopements are my absolute favourite, so I wasn’t able to say no! Having only met the day before the wedding, I knew that this was going to be a wedding that I would not soon forget.

The ceremony featured a sand portion which symbolized the blending of two families becoming one, and let me assure you, there wasn’t a dry eye under that gazebo, including my own!

Those beautiful girls wrote their own vows, and spoke so eloquently…

Side note: it was 35 degrees and everyone was desperate to find shade! The owner of Sanctuary Gardens told me to “embrace the sweat, because it’s going to be disgusting and there’s nothing you can do about it” – she was more right than I’d like to admit!

The reception took place at Quails Gate Vineyard – there are so many gorgeous vineyards to be explored and I cannot wait to go back!

Thank you all so much for including us in your stunning wedding, we were honoured to be there.
