When fate calls you answer.
This couples love story deserves to be told, so if you’re ready for a heart tug continue reading…
James was sent to Boston on business, when suddenly that business fell through. He said to himself, well shoot, I want to go visit my sister anyway so I am taking the trip.
Suzanne had planned a trip to Boston around the same time, and at the last minute she decided she wasn’t going to go, when her family convinced her that she deserved the trip and she had to go.
Well, James noticed Suzanne (who wouldn’t!) in the airport, and assumed she was a model. They were then seated next to each other on the airplane (imagine how nervous he was), and folks, as they say, the rest is history!
This brings us to the wedding weekend.
These two invited me to their home for the rehearsal dinner. I was greeted by the most welcoming group of individuals I have EVER met. I mean it, when people talk about east coast people being friendly they’re not doing it justice. The brides sister drove me home in a torrential rain storm for crying out loud! I am actually tearing up just thinking about that evening, it’s so unusual to be treated like family within five minutes of meeting people. The wedding day itself was an amazing experience, the couple wanted my assistant and I to relax and enjoy the day, and they meant it. We sat on the patio at the Hotel MacDonald enjoying cocktails in the sunshine, and goofing around with the family. Their wedding had a bit of a theme to it, they wanted it to feel like 1949, so everyone wore period pieces and looked extra sharp!
Here are a few images from the day, I hope you get a sense of the vast amount of joy that filled that day and made it so special.
